Nettie Pierce has won the Women's Club Woman of the Year Award for 2007 for her continuous work for St. Mark Parish.

The purpose of this organization is to care for the needs of the church to promote unified action of
a spirit of sociability and spirituality, keeping in mind the words of Christ:"By their works you shall know them".
The Women's
Club of St. Mark's is open to any woman in the Church that wishes to attend.
The Women's Club puts on activities such as the
Red Hat Tea Society and the Senior Soup Lunches, along with fundraisers for the St. Mark General Fund.
